Sophie Wehtje

Sophie Wehtje is a Swedish architect and independent researcher based in London. She got involved with Drawing Matter in 2021 through her then PhD research on The Architectural Archive in a Digital Age at the University of Edinburgh (ESALA), and working on the DMJournal. She later joined the DM Team in 2023 working across the collection, digital and editorial. Her research has since then morphed into a separate project with Niall Hobhouse. She currently spends her time between this project (…soon more to come) and DM.   

Sophie started out studying Fine Arts at Parsons the New School for Design, then moved into architecture and completed her MSc in Architecture at The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
