Alberto Ponis: Architecture and its tools

26 September 2020 – 31 March 2021, Fondazione di Sardegna

Curated by Paola Mura

Exhibition poster.

Exhibited on his home island of Sardinia, this exhibition charted Alberto Ponis’ development over his career through drawings, projects, theoretical writing and photographic images. Best exemplified by his work designing homes built on Sardinia itself, this exhibition testified to his forty years of work both at home and abroad. Exploring his interest in the co-existence of human and natural forms, the exhibition offers a selection of his most significant works in Costa Paradiso and Punta Sardegna where he integrated his residential architecture into the coastal landscape of Gallura.
