On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July, Drawing Matter will present an exhibition of drawings by BOLLES+WILSON (founded in London in 1980; based in Münster since 1988). The exhibition is the fourth in a series presenting the work of architects and practices that are represented in the Drawing Matter Collection by significant portfolios of drawings. It follows a roughly chronological narrative, bookended by drawings made by Peter Wilson in the mid-1970s while teaching at the Architectural Association and drawings for the Bazaar Gate, a twenty-eight-storey tower currently under construction in Tirana, Albania.

Peter Wilson, Public Convenience, 1976. Pencil and watercolour, 333 × 493 mm. DMC 2753.3.

On 3 July, the exhibition will open with a conversation between Julia Bolles, Peter Wilson, Mark Dorrian and Peter Carl. A recording will be published online.

During the weekend, Julia Bolles and Peter Wilson (Saturday 4 July, 3pm) and Silvana Taher (Sunday 5 July, 3pm) will lead informal walk-arounds of the exhibition, responding to the drawings on show. Free and open to all; no booking required.
