It is not the job of architects to make a home, but it is inevitable that their creations will intrude upon many. This exhibition catalogued the way in which designers have shaped these intrusions, and in turn influenced the cultural perception of home. From furniture to room design to Superstudio’s ambivalent dream of a flat and nomadic utopia, it explored the hopes and ideologies that made up ‘yesterday’s tomorrow’.
