Paddi Alice Benson
Paddi Alice Benson graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture with an MArch degree in 2017 and her final project – ‘Lost [and Found] in Play’ – was awarded the Bartlett School of Architecture Medal. For her undergraduate degree in architecture she studied at the University of Cambridge, before going on to do a Masters in Music at the University of Limerick. Paddi has worked with Benson+Forsyth, Avanti Architects and Fielden Clegg Bradley Studios – and she has been a visiting critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture, London Metropolitan University and Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA). Paddi is currently undertaking an Architecture by Design PhD at the University of Edinburgh (ESALA) – where she has also been a design tutor. In her research she explores the island as site of speculation, invention and experimentation – ‘(Mis)navigating Island Topoi’.
