Maria Mitsoula

Maria Mitsoula is a Senior Editor at Drawing Matter, with a focus on the DMJournal. She is an architect with experience in practice in the UK and Greece and a tutor and studio leader at the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. 

Maria received her PhD in Architecture by Design and MSc in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Edinburgh, funded by IPEP and Eugenides Foundation, and holds a Diploma in Architecture from NTUAthens. Her interests lie in the intersections of architecture with the humanities and visual and cultural studies—and particularly in drawn representations of the materiality of architecture, the city and landscape. She is co-director of cfmm–studio, co-founder and editor of DRAWING ON.
